Assistant Arborist

• Assist Certified Arborists (CA) with tree risk assessment, tree survey, report writing, insect and disease treatment and other consulting services.
  


• Assist Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialists (CTW) with tree pruning, tree removal, tree support system installation, and many other tree works.
  


• Use advanced technical instruments for tree risk assessment including sonic tomography, Resistograph, tree pulling test, airspade (training will be supplied)
  


• Work with a team of experienced arborists
  


• Be prepared to follow a high standard of tree risk assessment and mitigation works
  


• The ideal candidate would be someone who can work independently, learn quickly, communicate well, and be reliable.
  

• has acquired or is currently acquiring a diploma or degree in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, or a related field
  


• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook
  


• Requires good and clear communication, integrity, honesty, reliability, timeliness
  


• Driving license, Class 1 and 2 (a plus, higher pay)
  


• *MUST be a resident of Hong Kong or hold a work visa. If you don't have this, don't apply.
  

• All stated work experience, training experience, and education must be supported with documentary proof and references.

• Work schedule is a 5 day work week, Monday-Friday, Working hours 8:30am-5:30pm.
