Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for administrative support for the buying team.
- Assist Buyers in purchase order management, including order confirmation checking, inputting purchase orders into the system, managing data entry, and managing queries related to invoice discrepancies.
- Assist Buyers in writing orders accurately and efficiently, with the goal to develop and manage ownership of a portfolio, inclusive of ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories.
- Take ownership of brand delivery schedules to meet company business objectives.
- Monitor seasonal performance and inventory levels, and execute in-season and off-season action plans to improve revenue and profitability.
- Establish pricing strategies based on performance analytics, competitor landscape and margins.
- Co-ordinate with operations and marketing teams to ensure product launches are on time, and launch strategies are aligned.
- Work closely with retail team to ensure optimal stock allocation to stores.
- Prepare sales reports and assist other ad hoc duties and projects.
- Maintain strong understanding of latest fashion trends, based on market research and social trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or related disciplines is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a fashion retail company, multi-brand experience in Menswear is a plus.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must. Proficient Cantonese is a plus.
- Creative mindset to think outside the box.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to learn, and quick to adapt.
- Proactive team player, but able to work independently.
- Strong fashion sense and personal style.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- More experienced candidates will be considered for Buyer.
