• Support the development and implementation of ALM strategy, including derivative-based hedge programs
• Develop new and maintain existing ALM tools and reports
• Assist with ALM-related Economic Capital management and reporting
• Assist with Financial Risk Management (FRM) reporting and analysis (including investment risks and underwriting risks)

- Support analysis and decision-making for ALM strategy and initiatives, including strategic asset allocation and investment strategy, interest rate risk management (e.g., asset/liability duration matching, key rate duration analysis, Economic Capital management), and risk tolerance and limit setting.
- Provide ALM support for new product development activities.
- Support derivative-based hedging activities, including day-to-day operations (e.g., collateral management) and performance monitoring. Enhance process efficiencies.
- Support activities for the Asset/Liability Management & Investment Committee, the Risk & Capital Committee, and the Board of Directors.
- Develop new and maintain existing ALM dashboards and reports. Enhance process efficiencies.
- Develop a good understanding of different reporting bases (HK/Singapore/Bermuda regulatory and internal Economic Framework).
- Support FRM related reporting and analysis
- Review liquidity testing and support liquidity model enhancements
- Support business planning and other ad hoc projects related to ALM and capital management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solid knowledge of life insurance products, financial risk management, and risk-based capital frameworks
- Programming capability, particularly Excel VBA; experience with actuarial software (e.g. RAFM, MoSes) is an advantage
- Understanding of ALM, market-consistent valuation, and derivatives used for hedging (interest rate and equity)
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Adaptable and influential, able to think innovatively and persuade stakeholders in a changing environment
