Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure smooth operations within front office and facillates the communication between front and middle office on a day-to-day basis.
• To plan and allocate manpower of the team to deliver quality services to our internal customers
• To identify and suggest improvement plan of daily operations whenever necessary.
• To work closely with Relationship Manager to provide all-rounded commercial banking services to the Bank’s customers including customer due diligence , credit related checkings, documentations handling, daily clearing cheque verification / focal point on guarantee scheme / documentations follow up pre and post loan draw down etc.
• To mentor junior team member in handling daily operations as well as customer enquiries on account balances, deposit renewals, term loan rollovers, general enquiry etc.according to the Banks’s requirement.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
• Customer-Centricity ;Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.
