Job Description - Assistant Manager (Treasury Team, Finance & Accounting Department)



China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”) with presence in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, China’s largest financial insurance corporation.


 


 


Responsibilities


 


1.    Lead and supervise a team of accounting staff to perform business cash collection, payment processing and closely work with operation teams.

2.    Perform treasury functions in cash management, cash flow projection and arrange fund transfer, liaise with banks for banking facilities and maintain good business relationship with bankers.

3.    Prepare internal reports to Group/departments and external reports on a timely/ad hoc basis.

4.    Prepare audit works and liaised with internal and external auditors.

5.    Review of treasury procedures, policies and processes.

6.    Involve in projects implementation.

7.    Involve in new accounting standard implementation project through close collaboration with different teams and external consultants.

8.    Highly flexible to handle ad hoc assignments as required.


 


Requirements:


 


1.    University graduate with five years of relevant accounting / treasury experience, preferably in sound accounting firm.

2.    Member of a recognized professional accounting body or relevant qualification is preferred.

3.    Strong leadership skills and able to work under pressure.

4.    Possess good project management skill.

5.    Strong analytical skills and critical mindset.

6.    Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
