Job Description


The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the MSc in AI for Business of the Department in the following areas, including but not limited to: 



  • Delivering administrative and executive activities to support the MSc in AI for Business programme, including recruitment, admissions, student/alumni records maintenance, course and examination scheduling, curriculum, quality assurance, marketing campaigns, and promotion;

  • Overseeing the daily operation of the programme;

  • Organising student/alumni events and co-curricular activities;

  • Drafting papers/reports and providing secretarial and logistics support for committees;

  • Liaising with internal and external units/parties;

  • Assisting in various Department/School-wide functions and events; and

  • Perform any other duties as assigned. 


Requirements:



  • A recognised degree with at least five years of relevant experience;

  • An AI enthusiast, has good knowledge and experience in utilising AI tools to solve problems;

  • Experience in social media management, liaison with external stakeholders, and coordination of resources to support programme promotion and student engagement;

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);

  • Strong sense of ownership and be flexible with competing priorities and changes;

  • Meticulousness, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility;

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and

  • Willingness to work on weekends and outside office hours when required.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding.


Candidates with less experience may be considered for the lower rank. 


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
