The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is looking for a responsible, self-motivated and high-caliber individual to fill the position of Assistant Officer. The appointee will provide administrative and operation support to the Department. Key duties include assisting in human resources logistics and administration for research staff appointments, serving as the primary contact point for related inquiries, managing frontline operations in the general office, providing secretarial support to faculty members, and carrying out any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree. Candidates with an associate degree or higher diploma and relevant experience are also welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should have 1 - 2 years of full-time work experience, preferably in human resources administration within the education sector. A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required. The appointee should also be a good team player, attentive to details, with good computer literacy and the ability to work independently. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
