Job Description - Assistant Relationship Manager/ Relationship Manager, Group Co-operation Office (Execution Relations

Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pair up with designated MRMs to assist in soliciting and developing corporate banking business; achieve assigned business targets, if any.
• Assist in performing financial spreading, credit analysis and preparing credit proposals aligned with risk standards with understanding of the client’s strategic and financial objectives / needs.
• Take care of post-approval and post-lending account management and credit monitoring.
• Review loan documentation and financial reports.
• Collaborate with Services Officers to provide the best customer experience to clients, including but not limited to handling enquiries and/or transactions related to client onboarding, account balances, deposit renewals, loan rollovers, foreign exchange, etc.

Requirements:

1. Education Qualification
• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines.

2. Working Experiences
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in credit, marketing and relationship management in corporate banking, preferably gained from international banking environment.
• Formal credit analysis training will be an advantage.

3. Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / License
• Possess the required qualifications and license under SFC for dealing in securities will be an advantage
• Possess the qualification of Associate Credit Risk Management Professional (ACRP) preferred


4. Business Knowledge
• Understand the operating features, transactional mechanism and pricing structure of
o Trade Product and Services
o Corporate & Institutional Lending
o Treasury Products
• Understand industry and market developments relating to corporate banking
• Understand the Bank’s policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, standards and applicable local and regional regulations to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
