Assistant Vice President, Business Control, Treasury & Markets Group

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with internal parties to assist in the update of Treasury related workflows, procedures and guidelines.
• Support the business developments / initiatives in TMG such as NPAs. Assist to drive new product deployment by working closely with internal and external counterparts in all stages of product deployment including system enhancement / testing, workflow establishment.
• Assist and provide oversight in all Treasury projects especially in system and infrastructure projects including coordination with TMG users for defining user requirements, UAT and workflow updates, as well as providing inputs from a control perspective.
• Provide business with first hand system support and help to coordinate and work on the control of business requests such as limit requests.
• Focal point of contact with system vendors such as Murex, Bloomberg, Reuters on support and control issues.
• Assist in coordination of new product post launch attestation and integrity reviews.
• Provide general business support to Trader and Marketers in TMG.
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

1. Education Qualification
• Degree holder in IT, Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline.

2. Working Experiences
• Minimum 5-8 years working experience and preferable related to Treasury and Global Markets.

3. Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / License 
• Holder of Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTMP) under the HKMA ECF on TM is preferred.

4. Business Knowledge
• Knowledge of Treasury products, FX / Interest Rate derivatives preferred.
• Knowledge in HKMA guidelines and relevant regulatory framework.
