Associate/ Associate Director, Delta One Trading, Equity Derivatives

Position Description

The successful candidate will join the Delta One Trading desk, managing the daily market access trading business across APAC region. The Delta One Trading desk is part of the CITIC CLSA’s Prime and Equity Derivatives business.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Trading in TRS, Futures, FX across China, Hong Kong and APAC region
• Execution in stocks, futures, FX for hedging Delta One products
• Risk management, position management, inventory optimization for Delta One business
• Manage communication and trading relationship with clients, providing synthetic access for clients
• Develop and participate with trading strategies, position and risk monitoring tools
• Close interaction with related trading desks and business units to maximize franchise value

Requirements

• Maters or above degree Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline(s)
• Related experiences within investment bank, hedge funds and trading houses
• Basic understandings of vanilla, and exotic/delta one equities products
• Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills including coding knowledge
• Attention to details, a team player with strong work ethic and willing to learn
• Ability to work under a stressful environment with a risk-aware attitude
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua preferred)
