AVP, Tech & Operations Internal Audit - Large Corporate Bank

1. Lead & Deliver Audits: Help steer and manage assigned audit engagements across technology and banking operations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and provide genuine strategic value to the broader banking group.
2. Modernize Audit Practices: Actively participate in shaping and updating the bank's audit methodologies, continuously integrating industry-best practices for IT activities and modern digital banking operations.
3. Evaluate Risks & Controls: Conduct thorough assessments of IT infrastructure, core banking operations, risk management frameworks, internal control systems, and regulatory compliance protocols.
4. Champion Data & Innovation: Drive the adoption of data analytics, Python, Power BI, and AI-driven techniques to create smart dashboards and optimize the efficiency and depth of audit engagements.
5. Collaborate as a Strategic Partner: Work closely with the Technology Division, COO Office, and Information Security & Digital Risk teams to stay ahead of emerging risks, maintain transparent relationships, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
6. Spearhead Special Projects: Lend your expertise to unique, ad-hoc assignments, including critical investigations, advisory projects, and cross-functional technology initiatives.

1. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
2. Professional Experience: At least 5+ years of dedicated experience within IT audit or IT risk control functions, ideally gained within the financial services or banking sector.
3. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT security operations, network architecture, operating systems, and vulnerability management, alongside a strong grasp of banking control regulations.
4. Data Savvy: Strong analytical mindset with hands-on exposure to data analytics tools (such as Python or Power BI) is highly advantageous.
5. Professional Credentials: Holding certifications like CISA, CISSP, or ECF-Cybersecurity (Professional) is preferred and highly valued.
6. Soft Skills & Culture Fit: Outstanding communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken). You should be an analytical thinker, highly collaborative, adaptable under pressure, and have the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Flexibility: High levels of integrity and drive, with a willingness to travel occasionally for regional audit assignments.
