A well-established bank is looking for a Manager to join their Corporate Action Team.
Your new role
Manage and execute end-to-end corporate action events across a diversified portfolio of securities covering both local and global markets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance throughout the lifecycle
Oversee the corporate actions function and cost management, ensuring operations are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining service quality
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, validation, and submission of corporate action notifications, instructions, payments, and reporting, maintaining high standards of data quality and operational control
Act as subject-matter expert (SME) to support operational activities, user training, system migration, and cross-functional knowledge sharing initiatives
Design and implement structured cross-training programs to enhance team versatility, continuity, and operational resilience
Lead and coordinate migration, training, and implementation activities within nearshoring/offshore centers, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation, ensuring processes are clearly defined, standardized, and aligned with regulatory and internal control requirements
Drive process optimization and automation initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, enhance efficiency, and improve operational scalability
Participate in and support system enhancement and project initiatives (including UAT and process migration), working closely with IT and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and minimal operational disruption
Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective issue resolution
What you'll need to succeed
University degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in corporate actions / securities operations / post-trade operations, with solid exposure to corporate action, global cash equities, trust and fund.
Strong product knowledge of treasury and markets products and associated operational processes, with the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality operational services.
Proven experience in process improvement, SOP design, and workflow standardization, with a continuous improvement mindset
Hands-on experience in system implementation, migration, UAT testing, and automation initiatives, with ability to drive operational efficiency and scalability
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
