Job Responsibilities:

Digital engagement use case development:
• Responsible for successful delivery of new high priority data related projects on key data platform like IMH(Cloudera/Oracle), DEP(PEGA), Tableau and SAS with squad team running in Agile mode

• Drive data use cases initiation with internal teams / business units

. Drive end-to-end data use case development including pre-sizing analysis, use case data label/customer traits development, UAT facilitation and use case post-implementation performance review.
• Promote awareness of data culture across PBG, including conducting data use case related training and communication campaigns

Advanced analytics competency development:

• Manage and fine-tune customer analytics data models (customer label, customer traits) in customer data platform

• Manage and fine-tune core data pipelines in data engineering platform

• Train, enhance & Maintain machine learning models per bank's AI governance guideline & policy

Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or relevant disciplines is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in data analytics, data driven campaign, data governance, data mining, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, next to buy model, machine learning and/or data science related work.
• Proven track record of success in delivering desired program/project management outcomes, preferably in banking/financial services industry.
• Big Data development experience (e.g. Hive, Spark) and knowledge of Python and analytics libraries will be an advantage.
• Solid experience with statistical modeling tools and data visualization tools.
• Preferably possess / obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Financial technology (Fintech).
• Good at business intelligence applications, analytics platform, database software such as SAS, Python, Tableau and Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem solving skill.
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
