Summary
My client is looking for a senior audit professional to join their Internal Audit function, with responsibilities spanning corporate credit risk and overseas audit centre operations. This role combines technical expertise in credit audit with leadership in managing international audit coverage, offering a unique platform to shape risk management across diverse business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Credit Audit: Conduct and lead audits of corporate lending, credit approval processes, and portfolio management. Evaluate credit risk frameworks and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  
• Leadership: Coordinate and oversee audit activities across overseas operations, ensuring consistent methodology and effective risk coverage.
  
• Risk & Governance Review: Identify emerging risks, assess control effectiveness, and recommend enhancements to strengthen governance and compliance.
  
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior management and collaborate with regulators and business units.
  
• Team Development: Mentor junior auditors, promote audit excellence, and uphold international standards.
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in internal audit, with exposure to both corporate credit risk and international audit functions.
  
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management, banking operations, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFA preferred.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, credit risk review, or corporate banking
  
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage complex priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
