Business Analyst Financial Institution

We're currently hiring a Business Analyst to join the IT team of a leading financial institution in Hong Kong.

The role focuses on technical/business analysis, digital client platform development, and working closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into clear system requirements.
• Work closely with developers, business users and other IT teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support the development and enhancement of digital/client-facing platforms and portals.
• Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for system and workflow improvements.
• Coordinate UAT, testing, issue resolution and production rollout.
• Manage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Analyse data and support data administration/document governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid  experience as a Business Analyst / Technical BA.
• Experience in financial services / financial institutions is preferred.
• Strong experience in software development projects and working with technical teams.
• Solid requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with digital platforms, client portals or web/mobile applications is highly preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin is required.
• Equity Research / Equities experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
