Job Description - Business Development Manager

Overview

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered wealth data aggregation and insights platform that helps HNW individuals and wealth professionals make better investment decisions through our cutting-edge technology offering seamless account aggregation, portfolio analytics, and comprehensive client reporting. Backed by leading global VCs and family offices they are now seeking a Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team during this exciting period of exponential growth.

What You Will Do

    • Expand client base through strategic networking and leveraging platform capabilities to meet growing digitalisation demands in wealth management
    • Build and nurture profitable long-term relationships with wealth management clients, professionals and key industry entities
    • Act as a trusted advisor by monitoring client affairs, identifying opportunities during discovery conversations, and providing tailored solutions
    • Establish strategic product distribution partnerships while developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet targets
    • Manage sales pipeline efficiently, tracking revenue performance against targets and reporting progress regularly
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data and Tech teams to optimize client journey and satisfaction

What You Will Need

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in wealth management for HNW clients and family offices; established network in Singapore/Hong Kong/ China preferred
    • Strong track record in business development with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients
    • Self-motivated professional with excellent time management skills and consistent follow-through capability; persistent in client outreach and relationship nurturing
    • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and wealth management solutions, with ability to tailor offerings to specific client needs
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities; sales-oriented and results-driven with proven ability to work effectively under pressure both independently and collaboratively
    • Proficiency in English required; Chinese language skills (written and spoken) highly advantageous
