About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Investment Bank with global presence. Currently, they are hiring for a Client Risk Analyst to join their private banking division as the first line of defence, ensuring strong risk controls and compliance.

Job Description

Manage and assess client account activity, onboarding, and monitoring.
Independently handle Vulnerable Client Assessments.
Review client net worth throughout their lifecycle.
Conduct risk reviews with attention to detail and proper documentation.
Communicate with frontline teams, compliance, and other departments.
Analyze data trends and risk indicators for reporting and decision-making.
Help improve risk procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
Prepare risk reports, escalate issues, and follow up on outstanding items.
Share knowledge and assist with training on risk controls and regulations.
Support ad hoc projects and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

Experience verifying net worth and financial profiles.
Knowledge of vulnerable client assessment and related regulations.
Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Excel, Python, and Copilot for data analysis and automation.
Familiarity with private wealth products (e.g., structured products, funds).
Basic understanding of SFC, HKMA, MAS regulations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Prior experience in risk/control roles or financial institutions preferred.
