Pay

HK$161,107 to HK$185,614 (HMPS Pt. 20 to Pt. 24) per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Cluster Chief Executive (CCE), the Cluster General Manager (Human Resources) will lead the operational human resources management for the cluster under the direct leadership of the CCE. The incumbent will also report to Head of Human Resources at HA Head Office. The key responsibilities include:

1.    Support the CCE in the planning and implementation of strategy, organization development and people management programmes to support cluster operations.

2.    Contribute to setting the strategic direction for the HA in regard to people related policies and practices.

3.    Contribute to the modermization of HR functions and development of HR shared service.

Entry Requirements

1.    Holder of a Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent.

2.    Minimum of 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in HR function of which at least 5 years at senior management level (i.e. Senior Executive Officer or equivalent level).

3.    Capable of bringing in global view on HR management and leadership in healthcare industry.

4.    Able to appreciate long term trends from a variety of perspectives and contributes to development of strategies for the organization; providing an environment and resources to enable the achievement of results.

5.    Able to instill and lead the team with direction in line with the organization’s visions and objective and influence others to initiate creative or innovative ideas / approaches.

6.    Able to act as a role model of personal drive and commitment in the process of change and inspire, support and coach others on planning and managing the process of change.

7.    Capable of integrating the change initiative across functions.

8.    Have an aptitude of advocating work-life balance in the organization and balance employee satisfaction and organization interests.

Preferred Attributes/Exposure:

1.    Some qualifications in Human Resources Management.

2.    Strong leadership qualities as well as excellent interpersonal and communication/ presentation skills.

3.    Analytical, innovative and committed to achieving strategic results.
