COO, Insurance Brokerage

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to execute operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability
• Lead enterprise-wide operational excellence within a robust governance, risk, and control framework
• Oversee end-to-end insurance operations to deliver efficient processes and exceptional client service
• Champion process improvement and transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality, and client retention
• Establish operational standards and resolve complex business and client challenges to maintain service excellence
• Provide strategic reporting and performance insights to the CEO and Board to support informed decision-making
• Build and develop a high-performing operations team while fostering collaboration, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

• 15+ years' insurance industry experience, including at least 10 years in senior operational leadership, with expertise in life insurance or brokerage operations
• Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong insurance market, including brokerage operations, insurance regulations, governance, risk management, and compliance
• Proven experience leading operational transformation, process optimisation, and change management initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction
• Demonstrated strategic leadership with the ability to drive operational excellence, influence stakeholders, build consensus, and lead high-performing teams
• Professional qualifications such as ANZIIF, ACII, FCII, or equivalent are highly regarded, supported by a commitment to continuous professional development
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and client relationship skills
