Corporate Accountant | Top Tier Hedge Fund (open to big 4)

Role Overview: We are exclusively representing a Asia Top-tier hedge fund to recruit a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting professional. This role sits within the management company finance team, rather than the fund accounting side, and is critical to ensuring the financial health and seamless operational reporting of the firm's corporate entities. This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing Big 4 auditor looking to transition into a premier buy-side institution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Month-End & Financial Reporting: Handle the full set of accounts for the management companies across the APAC region, driving the month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Corporate Finance Operations: Manage daily corporate accounting functions, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, payroll processing coordination, and expense management.
3. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings (e.g., SFC Financial Resources Rules - FRR) and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
4. Audit & Tax: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors for annual statutory audits and corporate tax filings.
5. Process Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements in finance workflows, internal controls, and system automations.

Key Requirements:

1. Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is required.
2. Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid accounting or audit experience. Outstanding candidates directly from Big 4 audit firms (preferably with Financial Services / Asset Management exposure) are highly welcomed.
3. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS / HKFRS. Familiarity with SFC FRR reporting is a strong plus, but not mandatory for Big 4 candidates.
4. Attributes: Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Advanced Excel skills are expected.
5. Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
