Corporate M&A / PE Partner

WHO

Our client is a leading global law firm that is strengthening its transactional platform across Asia. It offers an international client base, substantial cross-border capability and a merit-led partnership model that rewards business generation and collaboration. The firm is seeking an established Corporate M&A and private equity partner, or an aligned partner team, to build its practice in Hong Kong.

WHAT

You will lead complex cross-border mandates, deepen relationships with institutional clients and work with partners across Asia, Europe and the United States to generate new opportunities. The role calls for a substantial, demonstrably portable practice at a level comparable with leading US, global or Magic Circle firms, together with a credible plan for integrating clients and growing a high-performing team on the firm’s international platform.

YOU

You will be an established partner with a strong record in Corporate M&A and private equity, sophisticated cross-border work and a sizeable portable client base. Hong Kong-qualified partners are preferred, although lawyers admitted in another common-law jurisdiction or the United States will also be considered. You should combine technical authority with commercial judgement, proven team leadership and the ability to collaborate across offices and practice groups. No specific language capability is required.
