The Senior Manager, Credit Review, will be responsible for overseeing the credit review process for large corporations, privately-owned enterprises (POEs), and state-owned enterprises (SOEs). This role involves conducting thorough credit reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and providing strategic recommendations to support the bank's credit risk management objectives.

Your new role

• Credit Review and Assessment:
  
  • Conduct independent and comprehensive reviews of credit portfolios for large corporate clients, POEs, and SOEs.
  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of credit applications, including internal ratings and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide well-founded recommendations for credit risk management to senior management.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  
  • Prepare detailed credit review reports and presentations for senior management and credit committees.
  • Conduct financial analysis, cash flow projections, and industry research to support credit decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  
  • Work closely with relationship managers, risk management teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to credit risk management.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Ad Hoc Projects:
  
  • Lead or participate in special projects and assignments as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related fields.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are advantageous.
• 8-10 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on large corporate clients, POEs, and SOEs.
• Strong understanding of market and industry dynamics, particularly in the PRC.
• Expertise in risk and financial analysis, cash flow projections, and banking products.
• Proficiency in written Chinese and English, with fluency in Putonghua preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
