Credit Trader | International Bank

Job Description:

• Support trading across APAC USD credit markets (including China, Japan, and Australia), monitoring market developments and identifying opportunities
• Execute trades and manage the full trade life cycle, working closely with regional and global counterparts
• Manage and run your own trading book, with initial focus on a defined risk allocation
• Take ownership of risk positioning, P&L, and trading decisions within assigned limits
• Act as a backup trader across multiple books, ensuring continuity and supporting broader desk activity
• Work as a secondary cover on larger regional books (e.g. Japan), gaining exposure to more complex markets
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, risk, and operations to support trading and client activity
• Demonstrate strong risk management discipline, with the ability to independently manage exposures and generate trade ideas.

Requirement:

• Experience running or supporting a trading book, with preference for candidates who have managed risk independently
• Strong risk management mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment
