DevOps Engineer (AWS | Kubernetes | IaC | Security)

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading financial technology platform to hire a DevOps Engineer to support and evolve its cloud infrastructure and automation practices.

The organization operates a cloud-native, microservices-based platform on AWS , serving financial institutions in the structured products and wealth management space. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across infrastructure, automation, and cloud operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will take ownership of DevOps practices, improve deployment pipelines, strengthen system reliability, and support secure, scalable infrastructure operations.

1. Key Responsibilities Manage and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
2. Support and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) environments for microservices
3. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform / Ansible
4. Improve CI/CD pipelines for Java-based microservices
5. Strengthen system monitoring, alerting, and observability
6. Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis
7. Drive improvements in scalability, performance, and reliability
8. Contribute to security best practices and infrastructure hardening
9. Collaborate with engineering and support teams on automation initiatives
10. Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders where required

1. Requirements 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
2. Strong experience with AWS cloud services
3. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS)
4. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
5. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Ansible)
6. Strong Linux system administration skills
7. Scripting experience in Python, Go, or Bash
8. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
9. Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
10. Fluent in English.

1. Nice to Have Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
2. Exposure to DevSecOps practices and cloud security
3. AWS certification
4. Experience working in small, agile engineering teams
5. Exposure to audit, compliance, or client-facing technical discussions
6. Networking knowledge (VPNs, firewalls, hybrid cloud environments)
