HK$40,220 to HK$88,971 (HGPS Pt 16 to Pt 33) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Assess and counsel patients with dietary or nutritional problems.

2.    Plan, implement and follow-up dietetic therapies as well as evaluate outcome.

3.    Monitor the standard for quality, sanitation, safety and security in food services for inpatients.

4.    Provide consultative dietetic services to the health care team.

5.    Participate in nutrition or dietetic-related projects and research.

6.    Give lectures on nutrition or dietetic-related topics to other health care professionals, patient groups and the community.

7.    Provide training to students from academic institutions.

Entry Requirements:

A Master’s degree or a post-graduate diploma in a recognised dietetic programme conducted in a local university, or equivalent.

           1.    Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.

 2.      Preference will be given to candidates who are members of the Register of Dietitians accredited by the Department of Health.

 3.      The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for a period up to 6 March 2028 depending on his/her existing employment terms.

 4.      This post is time-limited in nature. The renewal / extension of appointment will be subject to service needs, availability of funding and job performance.
