About the Role


As a Director of Food and Beverage, you will be on driving operational excellence and business performance by leading the division to achieve financial targets while delivering exceptional guest experiences.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Food & Beverage Division including the maximization of profits, establishment of quality standards, maintenance of high staff performance and customer satisfaction. 

  • Lead the team to achieve business results and manage cost base in accordance with the annual F&B budget and KPIs by monitoring and enhancing staff productivity; conducting cost-efficient measures by utilizing operating equipment and optimal manpower deployment and creating business and revenue improvement strategies. 

  • Ensuring that the operation complies with the SOP requirements of the hotel and the Group, and all staff are well trained and perform according to the requirements and standards including food hygiene compliances. 

  • Ensuring the operation and the public areas comply with safety regulations in order to provide a safe and friendly environment for guests and staff by ensuring all staff follow safety work practices and constantly review and improve work practices; regularly reviewing and inspecting facilities. 

  • Monitor the market trend and offer suggestions to drive continuous improvement in all areas of F&B operations. 

  • Perform any other duties and special projects as required by the senior management.


 


About You



  • Degree or higher diploma or above in Hotel and Catering Management. 

  • A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience of diverse F&B operations in renowned hotels or well-established food & beverage operations with 5 years or more in a role of managing multiple outlets. 

  • Passion for customer service; clear focus on the customer needs and trends in order to meet customer satisfaction; and creativity and flair to exceed customer expectation. 

  • Sound food and beverage knowledge in international cuisine and wine & spirits; knowledge on food hygiene compliance; and knowledge of financial statement and experience in budgeting. 

  • Excellent leadership skills and mastery in delegating multiple tasks. 

  • Demonstrate the highest level of hospitality and professionalism with guest-oriented and service-minded.

  • Proactive, well-organized, detail-minded team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work independently under pressure.

  • Excellent command of English, Chinese would be a plus, and hands-on experience in MS Office applications.

  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
