Job Description

As an Energy Associate, your main responsibilities will include:

Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities, including building complex financial models and performing comprehensive due diligence
Lead the preparation and presentation of investment proposals for investment committee review
Drive proactive deal sourcing and lead sector research and analysis
Contribute to value creation initiatives across portfolio companies
Collaborate with team members on various strategic and operational projects related to portfolio management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Energy Associate should have:

3-5 years of investment experience, ideally in technology-focused companies
Strong interest in emerging and complex technologies
Advanced financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Prior experience in energy transition or decarbonization technologies is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Demonstrated leadership potential and adaptability
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese or Korean is a plus
Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Analyst position
Role can be based in either Hong Kong SAR or Singapore
