Equity Research Analyst Semiconductor & AI Power Infrastructure

Work Duties

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Technology Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on semiconductor and/or power infrastructure companies, producing high-quality research reports, and effectively communicating insights to institutional clients and internal stakeholders.

1. Prepare in-depth and timely research reports on the semiconductor and/or power infrastructure sectors, including company-specific research notes on United States / Hong Kong / Taiwan / Japan-listed companies.
2. Engage in analyst roadshows and client meetings to present research ideas and investment views to gain client votes.
3. Complete other ad-hoc research tasks and projects as assigned by team leadership.
4. Build and enhance relationships with corporates in the semiconductor and power infrastructure space.

Work Requirements

1. Master's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant sell-side/buy-side research experience in the TMT, semiconductor, power infrastructure, or industrial technology sectors. Working experience in a major technology firm or power/utility company is highly preferred.
3. Strong proficiency in Putonghua (spoken and written) is mandatory. English must be fluently used as a working language.
4. Qualified to possess a Hong Kong Type 4 (Securities Advisory) License.
