Responsibilities
Administration of Examinations
Fully understand the examination timetables and seating plan before each examination.
Check and place the examination scripts in the correct order with the Examinations Manager when the scripts arrived.
Filing the examination scripts in day/date order in preparation for the examinations.
Checking the necessary equipment is purchased and stored.
Checking that there is sufficient examination stationery in stock.
Liaising with staff to ensure that the examination room is prepared and ready to use for examinations.
Liaising and briefing other invigilators to ensure that they are informed about procedures for internal and external examinations.
Running of Exam Sessions
Invigilating the examinations, once the examination has been started by the Examinations Manager or other teaching staff member.
Checking and putting in candidate order the completed scripts, completing the attendance register, final check and packing / sealing envelopes in the exam room with the Examinations Manager.
Returning all sealed and packed examination scripts to the general office for dispatch to the examination board(s).
Carrying out all reasonable tasks that are required by the Examination Manager.
General Requirements
Good command of written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Independence, competency to work under pressure
Team player
Multi-tasking ability
An interest in working with students
Have a proactive working attitude, punctual at work and result orientated.
Good time management skills
Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
