General Overview

As a Science Technician, you will be responsible for a range of duties. The list of responsibilities and requirements below is a general overview.

General Responsibilities:

• Support the team in setting up major health & safety rules in the laboratory

• Provide risk assessment guidance for lessons

• Manage the disposal of chemicals properly

• Purchase and keep stores of apparatus, equipment and other inventory

• Help students during lessons / Demonstrate experiments to students

• Any other tasks as assigned by the Sciences Head of Department

General Requirements

• Lab Technician Diploma/Certificate or equivalents(including health & safety)

• Relevant experience in working with students

• Good spoken and written English

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Familiar with data loggers and MS Office applications, including Word and Excel

Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
