Finance Manager

The Company

Our client is a global hedge fund house. They are expanding their office to APAC. To support their continued business expansion, they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their Finance team.

The Role

• In-charge of month-end financial and management reporting and Cayman Island corporate entity to ensure all entities comply with HKFRS and IFRS respectively.
• Took the lead to manage the annual corporate audit with external auditor.
• Liaising with external fund administrators and reviewing monthly valuations for managed funds.
• Responsible for preparing the regulatory filings to HK SFC and CIMA, includes but not limited the Financial Resources Return ("FRR") and Fund Annual Return ("FAR").
• Supporting daily operations, including payment processing and bank account maintenance.
• Coordinating statutory audits with external auditors and preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Your Profile

• University degree or higher in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation is preferred.
• 8+ years in corporate accounting experience in Asset Management or financial institutions.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Good commercial sense and ability to simplify complex information.
