Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the financial management and reporting functions within the Accounting & Finance department.
Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives in the life science industry.
Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize business performance.
Leading internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial records.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives in Hong Kong and beyond.
Providing leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering professional development.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards relevant to the life science industry.
Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decisions.
Leadership capabilities to effectively manage and inspire a finance team.
Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline processes.
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
