Job Description

As a Fixed Income Research professional, your main responsibilities will include:

Conduct in-depth credit research and macroeconomic analysis across global and Greater China fixed income markets
Monitor and evaluate bond issuers, including sovereign, quasi-sovereign, corporate, and financial institutions
Support portfolio managers with investment recommendations and trade ideas based on rigorous bottom-up and top-down research
Track market developments, new issuance trends, and regulatory changes impacting fixed income instruments
Prepare regular research reports, presentations, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with trading, portfolio management, and risk teams to ensure alignment of research insights with investment strategies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fixed Income Research professional should have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed income research, preferably within asset management, investment banking, or rating agencies
Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related disciplines; postgraduate degree preferred
CFA charterholder or equivalent qualification is a plus
Native Mandarin speaker with excellent command of English
Proficient in financial modeling, Bloomberg, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Excel, SQL)
Solid understanding of China and global bond markets, including offshore RMB and USD-denominated instruments
