Job Description - Fixed Income Sales Assistant - Top US Investment Bank!

About Our Client

Our client is the one of the largest American investment banks, headquartered in New York City. They are now looking for a Fixed Income Sales Assistant/ Sales Support to join the fixed income desk to assist in trade execution, transactions bookings, client onboarding, client servicing, documentation, and market analysis. The team will be working closely with with sales, trading, structuring, and operations teams.

Job Description
  • Responsible for trade execution and transactions bookings for fixed income products including cash bonds, structured products, and derivatives
  • Provide real-time support via trade chat and work closely with operations to resolve post-trade or settlement issues
  • Assist in client onboarding and KYC processes, including documentation coordination and account setup
  • Prepare and maintain sales materials, client proposals, and presentations
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support pricing, product structuring, and client engagement
  • Work closely with internal teams such as trading, structuring, risk, compliance, and middle office to ensure seamless execution and adherence to regulatory and internal policies
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including system testing, data management, and process enhancements
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • 1-3 years of working experience in sales support/ trade support/ client facing roles within banking industry
  • Strong product knowledge in fixed income, cash bonds, structured products, derivatives etc.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong international skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in excel, Bloomberg, Access etc.
