OVERVIEW

Wellcom Worldwide are looking for accomplished freelance photographers to service a prestigious piece of business working across a global Auction house specialising in fine art at one of our onsite client studios. 

The ideal candidate will be a generalist able to turn their hand to various photography/video needs and requirements including

• Lot photography both 2D paintings and 3D objects ( Handbags, jewellery watches and Wine) 


• Marketing


• Event photography/ videography 


• Staff headshots

KEY TASKS

• Accurate and efficient capture of a wide range of fine art pieces including sculptures, handbags, flat art and other decorative objects from a wide range of specialist departments


• Able to follow our specific lighting techniques, procedures and house style guides to match our client’s very high standards of quality and productivity.  

KEY SKILLS 

• Excellent and accurate eye for colour and detail


• Knowledge of appropriate lighting techniques for the best possible captures using flash and continuous light. 


• Proficiency in medium format and DSLR cameras


• Proven experience in Fine Art digital capture and proficient editing skills


• Well-versed in Capture One and Photoshop within the Mac environment.


• Full working knowledge of colour management from capture to print/screen 


• Experience in using DAM, Dalim or GMG workflow tools or similar software


• Experience in handling/moving delicate and heavy works of art 


• Experience in Flat Art digital capture.


• Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining the right balance between quality and production targets.


• Must enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the ability to work independently.


• Must possess a diligent approach to timekeeping and file management.


• Must be client-focused, organised.


• Flexibility to work extra hours and weekends during peak periods.


• Ability to communicate and collaborate with wider teams and our clients using Google Suite and Office 365.


• Fluent in both Cantonese and English 


• Video experience desirable
