Full Stack Python Engineer

My client, a financial services provider, is seeking a talented Full Stack Python Engineer to design, scale, and maintain high-performance data applications. In this role, you will bridge the gap between backend data systems and interactive frontends, focusing heavily on Python and Plotly Dash. You will take full ownership of features from concept to deployment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build powerful financial tools and analytical dashboards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and sustain robust full-stack applications utilizing Python and the Dash framework.
• Construct efficient RESTful APIs and reliable backend services to support data delivery.
• Manage infrastructure and query execution across cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake and AWS RDS.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance performance across frontend UI, server-side logic, and database layers.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering peers to address complex business needs.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code while adhering to modern development best practices.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep proficiency in Python and creating/consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in Snowflake and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or AWS RDS.
• Routine use of Git and modern team workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure, containerization via Docker, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience engineering financial dashboards or specialized analytical tools.
• A genuine interest in AI integrations, Large Language Models (LLMs), or advanced data engineering workflows.
