Job Description

As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of fund accounting processes.
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports for clients.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and accounting standards.
Reconciling investment portfolios and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Assisting in audits and responding to queries from auditors and stakeholders.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Providing support and guidance to junior team members when needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and financial regulations for hedge funds.
Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the role.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
