Job Description

As a Fund Accountant Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing the fund accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards for SFC authorised funds
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
Overseeing the reconciliation of accounts and resolving discrepancies effectively.
Coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Providing guidance and leadership to the accounting team to meet objectives.
Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitoring and analyzing financial data to support decision-making.
Ensuring timely delivery of all fund-related financial deliverables.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant Assistant Manager should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
