FVP/VP-Product Execution Lead

The Product Execution Lead will report directly to the Head of Private Banking, is a core member of PB Department primarily acting as team lead for a team of Product & Execution specialists, responsible for investment product development, due diligence, transaction execution, servicing and compliance.

• Manage and lead a team of Product & Execution specialists, with the below responsibilities
• Work closely with stakeholders and external partners to ensure quality delivery of products and services.
• Conduct initial due diligence on new products and ongoing review of shelf products under management.
• Propose and maintain LTV on eligible securities for PB HK’s securities-backed portfolio financing program.
• Advise market intelligence and provide new product training to relationship managers on a regular basis.
• Participate in client account reviews and provide input on growth strategies from a product perspective.
• Support Head of PB HK on business strategy formulation in the area of investment products and services.
• Stay on top of market trends and formulate suitable product strategies to meet client and business needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to launch competitive products for effective distribution to target clients.
• Engage in relevant systems implementation planning, UAT and rollout.
• Precise and efficient execution of market side transactions (across all asset classes) to ensure PB clients orders are handled properly; with Best Execution applied where applicable.
• Work closely with PB first-line-of defence and other stakeholders to ensure products sales and trade execution process are in full compliance with relevant internal standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree with passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations (Type 1 and Type 4 licences obtained) is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years experience relating to investment and banking products
• Trade execution experience is required, with equities execution experience preferred
• OTC products knowledge and execution experience (equities and FX) is a definite advantage
• Strong self-motivation and able to work under pressure independently
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
