Job Description

As a Group Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's objectives in the technology and telecoms sector.
Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensuring effective internal controls and risk management practices are in place.
Collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial insights and drive strategic decision-making.
Supervising and mentoring the accounting and finance team in Shenzhen.
Coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Financial Controller should have:

A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Proven experience in financial management, especially within the technology and telecoms industry.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Familiarity with local and international accounting standards and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
