Job Description - Head of Human Resources | Hospitality Group
Our client is a leading Hospitality Group headquartered in Hong Kong, with an established and growing presence across Asia and Europe. With a strong portfolio of well-recognised dining concepts and an entrepreneurial, fast-moving culture, the group is now looking for a seasoned Head of Human Resources to lead its people strategy and support the next phase of business growth.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, ideal for a HR professional who enjoys working closely with business leaders, building scalable HR infrastructure, and driving people initiatives in a dynamic consumer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnering
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR strategy, workforce planning, organisational structure, and people-related matters.
Lead the HR function across Hong Kong and support regional markets across Asia and Europe.
Partner closely with business and operations leaders to support business growth, talent needs, and organisational development.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Oversee recruitment strategies across corporate and frontline operations.
Build a strong talent pipeline for key leadership, restaurant operations, culinary, and corporate roles.
Enhance employer branding and employee value proposition to attract high-quality talent in a competitive hospitality market.
HR Operations & Policy Development
Review and strengthen HR policies, procedures, employee handbook, and internal HR governance.
Ensure HR practices are compliant with local labour regulations across relevant jurisdictions.
Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, reporting, and employee data management.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
Lead annual salary review, bonus planning, benefits benchmarking, and reward initiatives.
Develop and enhance performance management frameworks to drive accountability and high performance.
Provide market insights on compensation trends within hospitality, F&B, retail, and consumer sectors.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Champion employee engagement, retention, learning, and career development initiatives.
Support leadership in building a strong, positive, and service-driven culture across the group.
Manage employee relations matters professionally and sensitively.
Requirements
Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Solid HR leadership experience gained from hospitality, F&B, retail, luxury, consumer, or other high-touch service industries.
Proven experience supporting multi-site operations and ideally regional or international markets.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinance; exposure to other Asia or Europe labour markets would be an advantage.
Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
