Job Description - Head of Investor Relations, Fund Raising-Private Equities

Strong in deal syndication, and capital raising through an established investor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Fundraising

Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts for PE, growth, co-investment, and special situation vehicles
Source and secure capital commitments from:

Institutional investors (family offices, UHNWIs, foundations, endowments)
Strategic investors and syndication partners

Structure and execute capital raises for:

Blind-pool funds
Deal-by-deal and co-investment opportunities

Collaborate with senior management on fund strategy, target investor profiles, and capital deployment pacing
Drive fundraising roadshows, investor meetings, and due diligence processes

Investor Relations & LP Management

Act as the primary relationship owner for existing and prospective investors
Maintain long-term LP relationships through consistent, high-quality communication
Oversee investor reporting, including:

Fund performance updates
Portfolio company updates
Capital call and distribution notices

Manage investor inquiries related to strategy, performance, liquidity, and pipeline
Ensure best-in-class investor experience aligned with institutional standards

Deal Syndication & Co-Investment

Support the investment team by syndicating opportunistic deals to:

Existing LPs
Strategic capital partners
External co-investors

Position deals effectively from an investor perspective, including:

Investment thesis
Risk/return profile
Exit strategy

Coordinate investor allocation, documentation, and closing for syndicated transactions
Expand and manage a trusted network of co-investment capital providers

Investor Network Development

Leverage and continuously expand a personal network of investors relevant to PE and growth deals
Build new LP relationships through industry events, referrals, and direct outreach
Identify strategic capital partners aligned with opportunistic and growth strategies
Maintain a strong market presence and credibility within the private capital ecosystem

Strategic & Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Investment, Portfolio, and Finance teams to align fundraising with deal flow
Provide investor feedback to inform fund strategy and product development
Support new fund launches, SPVs, and innovative capital structures
Advise leadership on market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive positioning

Compliance & Governance

Ensure all fundraising and investor communications comply with regulatory and legal requirements
Coordinate with legal counsel on offering documents, side letters, and investor onboarding
Uphold confidentiality, fiduciary duties, and institutional governance standards

The Successful Applicant

Proven track record in PE or growth capital fundraising
Demonstrated ability to raise capital and syndicate deals independently
Established investor network across family offices, UHNWIs, and institutions
Strong commercial mindset combined with credibility with sophisticated investors
Comfortable operating in an opportunistic, deal-driven investment environment
