Position : Hospital Administrator II
Department / Hospital / Cluster \: Administration Department / Wong Chuk Hang Hospital / Hong Kong Island Cluster
Pay : HK$34,705 to HK$67,526 (HGPS Point 13 to 27) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Hospital Administrator of Wong Chuk Hang Hospital / St. John Hospital / Family Medicine Clinics in day-to-day managerial and administration functions under Administrative Services Departments in the following areas:
1. General administration & telecommunication
2. Domestic and business support services
3. Procurement, material management and local supplies
4. Facilities & project management
5. Quality & safety, including patient relations & incident management
6. Facility & capital projects management
7. Health information & records management
8. Public affairs & community relations
9. Executive & secretarial support
10. Commissioning of new projects / services
11. Assist management in emergency preparedness, including contingency planning, communication, coordination & other contingency situations
12. Undertake any other administrative or supervisory duties as assigned by supervisors
Entry Requirements
1. A degree from a Hong Kong University; or equivalent; and
2. Fluent Cantonese and good written Chinese.
Preferred Attributes
1. Formal training and / or working experience (at supervisory or managerial level) in public administration, business management, health services management and public relations.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
3. Outgoing, be able to work under pressure and multi-tasking.
4. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
5. Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to support operational need by deploying to various location, as required.
6. Willing to perform on-call duties and work outside normal office hours

2. Required to work outside normal office hours, perform on-call duties, work shift and irregular hours, and attend duties during typhoon, black rainstorm warning and other emergencies.
