Pay\: HK$24,170 to HK$30,809 (HGPS Point 7 to 11) per month including Monthly Allowance 

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Assist professional staff to manage the manpower arrangement in the blood collection activities.

2.   Supervise and monitor the performance of Operation Assistant/ Donor Carer and preparation work of mobile/ vehicle collection work.

3.    Monitor the procedures of package, storage & delivery of blood and specimens being carried out as required by the work instruction.

4.    Operate all types of vehicles available in BTS including 16 Tonnes Special Purpose Vehicle if necessary.

5.    Responsible for the maintenance activities of all vehicles.

6.    Arrange the preparation and maintenance of equipment and all materials for blood collection.

7.    Perform general administrative duties, support and monitor the logistic work in mobile / vehicle collection unit.

8.    Identify and provide guidance for selection of operation route and parking area for mobile vehicles.

9.    Assist in handling of emergencies and other ad hoc incidents.

10.  Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Entry Requirements\:  

1.       (a) 3 years’ satisfactory service in the HA, or 

    (b) 2 years’ supervisory experience in hospitals, hotels, cleansing service, facilities management or other related services / industries.

2.       Have shown the potential to lead and supervise staff.

Preferable Attributes:

1.       Completed Form 5 or equivalent.

2.       With 2 years of working experience in blood donation service.

3.       Obtained valid driving license of classes 1, 2, 4 & 18 vehicles.

4.       Completed and passed recognized Care-related Support Worker Training Course/Health Care Assistant Training Course. 5.       Knowledge in computer applications which including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.

6.       Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

7.       Self-motivated, possess a good sense of responsibility and positive work attitude.

8.       High adaptability/flexibility and able to handle multiple tasks.

9.     Willing to work overtime and irregular shift under pressure.
