Job Description - Human Resources Specialist, East Asia


Summary

The incumbent will primarily focus on talent acquisition and end-to-end onboarding follow-up for East Asia, ensuring a smooth recruitment process and positive new hire experience. As a secondary priority, the incumbent will support employee relations and staff engagement initiatives, including the establishment of a recreational committee and well-being programs, as well as provide support on HR operations, visa-related letters when required, and ad hoc HR projects

What You'll Do


  • Support and coordinate end-to-end talent acquisition activities, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer preparation, and recruitment follow-up with hiring managers and candidates.

  • Follow up on onboarding arrangements for new hires to ensure a smooth joining experience, including preparation of onboarding documents, coordination of induction activities, and communication with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support employee relations and staff engagement initiatives, including the establishment and coordination of a recreational committee and well-being programs.

  • Provide HR operations support as required, including employee documentation, HR records maintenance, internal communication, and preparation of visa-related letters when needed.

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and process improvements to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.

  • Support APAC HR initiatives and projects such as job architecture, job grading evaluation, performance management and development, pay structure, and HRIS implementation, where applicable.

  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and assignments as required.


 

Who You Are


  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, / Business Administration or relevant disciplines

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in HR with solid knowledge of employment practices in MNC preferred

  • Well-versed in MS Office applications, including SharePoint & OneDrive

  • Experience in HRIS, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, would be an asset

  • Independent, responsible, proactive team player, capable of handling multi-tasks with adherence to deadlines

  • Personal integrity, sensitivity, and attention to details

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
