Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of data centre physical infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.

This role supports mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems to ensure 24/7 operations, and contributes to ongoing maintenance and infrastructure activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring, operational checks, and incident response
• Coordinate and supervise vendors during maintenance and installations
• Manage secure access and ensure works are completed to required standards
• Carry out network cabling adds, changes, and removals
• Handle installation and decommissioning of servers and network devices
• Troubleshoot network and cabling issues, including after-hours support

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in data centre or mission-critical environments
• Hands-on experience with server and network device installation
• Strong troubleshooting skills in network and cabling
• Able to work independently in high-pressure environments
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

This is a contract position with potential for extension.
