To strengthen our Fund Accounting Team in Hong Kong, we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified

Investment Accountant / Operations Specialist (100%)

Primary tasks:

1. Investment accounting
2. Supervision of subscriptions and redemptions
3. Reconciliation of cash- and securities positions and shadow bookkeeping of external fund accounting records
4. Reconciliation of net asset values
5. Verification and distribution of fund data incl. NAVs to external parties
6. Preparation of regular reporting to investment managers
7. Security valuations and audit preparation
8. Involvement in special projects as required
9. Supporting and coordinating corporate and regulatory filings (e.g., board resolutions, FRR, SFC, IRD reporting) and maintain accurate records
10. Supporting corporate accounting and manage correspondence with internal and external stakeholders

Secondary tasks:

1. Verification of investment allocations and avoidance of regulatory breaches
2. Involvement in respect of certain cash management and/ trade execution functions
3. Supporting the groups network management efforts
4. Overseeing office supplies and inventory
5. Maintaining operational procedures, documentations as well as ad-hoc interactions with regulators
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Requirements/Experience

1. Degree in Finance or Accounting
2. 3 years of work experience, preferably in banking, finance with exposure fund administration
3. Keen interest in global financial markets particularly emerging markets
4. Exact, reliable, detail oriented, structured and well organized working style
5. Fluent in English; fluency in any other language is a plus
6. Proficient in MS Office (mainly MS Excel), knowledge of VBA is a plus
