Investment Analyst Single CIO Hedge Fund

We are working with a Single CIO long/short equity hedge fund, looking ot onboard an Investment Analyst covering consumer/tech names.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in private equity, preferably covering consumer/tech names in China
• Native Mandarin and English

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental bottom‑up research on consumer and technology companies, including financial modeling and valuation analysis
• Generate long and short investment ideas supported by differentiated insights and variant views
• Perform deep industry, competitive, and supply‑chain analysis across relevant subsectors
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, tracking key operating and KPI drivers
• Engage with company management teams, industry experts, and external data providers
• Monitor portfolio positions, earnings, and catalysts; provide ongoing risk and performance analysis
• Work closely with the CIO on idea refinement, position sizing, and portfolio construction
