Job Description
Strategy Development & Execution
Execute trading strategies in line with the macro strategy team's overall direction.
Manage risk exposure and profit targets with discipline.
Demonstrate unique and proven experience in U.S. equity right-side trend-following trading, with systematic confirmation-based entry/exit methodologies.
Apply insight into long-term value investing, including fundamental research, intrinsic value evaluation, long-horizon investment logic, and conviction building.
Macro & Market Research
Conduct in-depth research on overseas markets, especially U.S. and global macro factors.
Track and analyze interest rates, FX, economic data, policy trends, and financial conditions.
Build macro frameworks, conduct scenario analysis, and perform back-testing.
Market Monitoring & Trend Forecasting
Monitor domestic and global markets in real time.
Identify market-moving events and provide analytical forecasts for short- and medium-term trends.
Deliver forward-looking insights for strategy refinement.
Risk Management & Position Control
Set up personal risk control metrics and ensure adherence.
Manage position sizing, risk exposures, and P&L attribution on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Ensure disciplined execution under different market conditions.
Trade Execution & Operational Handling
Execute and complete trading instructions in Hong Kong, U.S., and other overseas markets.
Responsible for order execution, settlement, reconciliation, and internal reporting.
Support account management and post-trade processes.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years of overseas macro trading experience, preferably in U.S. and Asian markets.
Familiar with both exchange and OTC trading rules, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience in Hong Kong and global market structure and trading mechanics preferred.
CFA qualification is a plus.
Qualified as type 1,4, 9 RO ,or eligible to apply for RO
Global mindset and the ability to understand multi-market dynamics.
