This role offers the opportunity to be a key relationship manager within an established alternative asset manager focused on private equity, private credit, and real assets.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing relationships with family offices, entrepreneurs, and select institutional investors, acting as a trusted partner and delivering clear, compelling investment narratives across private markets strategies.
With direct exposure to senior leadership, you will help shape investor engagement strategies and contribute to capital raising efforts across a sophisticated and growing investor base.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key contact for a portfolio of family offices and small-to-mid-sized institutional investors, building long-term, trusted relationships
Deliver clear and tailored communication on fund strategies, portfolio performance, and market developments to investors with varying levels of sophistication
Support fundraising initiatives, including investor targeting, outreach, and onboarding of new LPs
Prepare high-quality investor materials, including presentations, updates, and marketing documents, with a focus on accessibility and clarity for family office audiences
Organize and participate in investor events, roadshows, and smaller group forums, particularly within the family office ecosystem
Work closely with investment and senior leadership teams to translate investment insights into compelling investor messaging
Maintain ongoing dialogue with investors to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and cross-strategy allocations
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment, particularly within the family office and regional LP landscape
Ensure all investor communications adhere to internal standards and relevant regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in investor relations, fundraising, placement agents, or client coverage within private markets
Proven exposure to family offices and/or smaller institutional investors (endowments, foundations, regional LPs preferred)
Strong understanding of private equity and/or alternative investment strategies
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with entrepreneurial and high-net-worth investors
Experience supporting or participating in fundraising processes and investor engagement activities
Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin
Commercial mindset with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
